Mrs. Claus' Official Rule About Perfect Christmases
I would like to clear up a rumor. There is no Perfect Christmas Department at the North Pole.
I would like to clear up a rumor.
There is no Perfect Christmas Department at the North Pole.
I checked.
There is no inspector walking around with a clipboard checking whether your cookies match, your decorations are straight, your family wore coordinated pajamas, or everyone smiled beautifully in a photograph.
Christmas does not have to look a certain way to count.
Some families love enormous celebrations. Some like quiet mornings. Some cook all day. Some order dinner. Some travel. Some stay home. Some have dozens of traditions. Some are making new ones.
And sometimes people are tired, overwhelmed, sad, excited, noisy, quiet, or all of those things in the same afternoon.
That is real life.
At the North Pole, we care much more about connection than perfection.
Did someone feel loved?
Did you laugh?
Did somebody get the quiet they needed?
Did you help each other?
Did you make a memory, even if it was not the memory you planned?
Then I would say Christmas is doing just fine.
