What Does Mrs. Claus Do on Christmas Eve?
Christmas Eve is one of the busiest nights of my year, and no, I do not spend it sitting beside the fireplace waiting for Santa to come home.

Once the sleigh launches, North Pole Mission Control gets very busy.
We watch weather. We check route updates. We stay in contact with the teams supporting Santa’s trip. Reindeer Ranch stays ready in case the flight team needs anything. The Toy Factory handles last-minute questions. Santa’s Mail Station keeps processing messages.
My job is to help everyone stay coordinated.
I also make sure the elves working Christmas Eve eat, rest, and rotate through their shifts. It is easy to forget those things when everyone is excited.
Of course, I watch Santa’s progress too.
And yes, I worry about him.
He has been doing this a long time, but caring about someone does not disappear just because they are good at their job.
When Santa finally returns, the Village celebrates.
Then he eats.
A lot.
And after the reindeer are settled, the elves head home, and the North Pole gets quiet, we finally sit down together.
That might be my favorite part of Christmas Eve.
