Meet the Elves Who Invent New Toys
Deep inside Santa's Toy Factory is a room covered in sketches.
Deep inside Santa's Toy Factory is a room covered in sketches.
There are drawings taped to the walls, cardboard models on the tables, jars filled with buttons and gears, and at least one invention nobody is allowed to touch because it still launches marshmallows without warning.
Welcome to the Toy Inventor Lab.
This is where North Pole Toy Inventors dream up new ideas.
Some inventors love building things. Others are excellent at drawing. Some are great at noticing problems. Others ask questions nobody else thought to ask.
"What if a board game changed every time you played it?"
"What if a stuffed animal had a secret pocket?"
"What if a toy car could carry snacks?"
Not every idea becomes a toy.
Some ideas are too complicated. Some need more testing. Some are wonderfully ridiculous.
But every idea gets considered.
Chief Inventor Juniper Jingles has one rule posted above the door:
THERE ARE NO SILLY IDEAS IN THE FIRST DRAFT.
Why?
Because strange ideas sometimes become brilliant ones after a little tinkering.
NorthPole Pro® Honorary Elves can visit the Toy Inventor Lab and create toy ideas of their own. So if you have ever imagined a glow-in-the-dark dinosaur skateboard with a cookie compartment, the North Pole would very much like to hear about it.
